Twelve years in tech, then a year building this: months of research, prototypes, and a lot of ideas that never made it into the box. What survived is the smallest thing that still works: a conversation, three elements, and an evening with your hands in clay.
KEGO opened this summer. There is no wall of reviews here yet, because there isn't one to show, and inventing one would defeat the entire point of the object. What there is: a real person in a real studio, packing kits one at a time, who reads every message.
The kit is $49 USD. The consultation is free, and you only pay if you decide to order at the end.
Yes. The beads are smaller than a fingertip, the clay air-dries on your table, and nothing is fired or glued. If you can roll a ball of dough, you can do this.
It will, slightly. That isn't a defect in the kit. It's the part that makes it yours. You can reshape a bead right up until it dries.
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. It's a reminder you built with your own hands. It is not treatment and not a substitute for professional mental health support.
No. The consultation is free and ends with your design. Ordering the kit is a separate choice you make at the end.
Not for aesthetic reasons. Each element is there because of something you said. If the reasoning is wrong, say so and it gets re-derived, but "I prefer green" isn't a reason we act on.
However you like. Every day, or only on the days you need the reminder most. There are no rules attached to it.
